Hello chestnuts, hope you are all doing amazing.
Another 2022 month has been checked, so now it is time for a new magical blog :) November has been an incredible month full of news, so get comfy while you read this little blog post.
Cold is slowly sneaking in and days are really short. Winter solstice is nearly here!

This month has been really incredible in Ilustra art school. I have done so, so, so many different subjects with amazing professionals. I am beyond grateful to be there sharing the space with incredible people.
We started November learning character design with the beyond talented Black Ramu. With her, we studied body shapes, saw lots of amazing referents, learned how to draw caricatures of famous people as well as understand how types of personalities influence in the appearance of a character.
After two incredible weeks with Maria, we learned about illustration applied to products and developed a project with Inma Otero following a specific client briefing.
On the other hand we have also made perspective, photoshop and website design so we can learn how to submit our portfolio to the next level. Our teachers for these last subjects have been Perroraro, Nachetz, Ale Rojas, Luis Gonzalez and Curro Sanchez.
My blog of notes is filled with useful and incomputable information!

Have you seen this drawing below?
It has been one of this month’s projects! I had the pleasure to join a really cool calendar with 11 more artists from Spain. I randomly got November 2023, which was really nice as it is my birth month hihi

On the freelance side, this month has been pretty intense. I now can tell you that I have worked for this month’s Cavall Fort issue. This magazine has always been a referent for me and I am still not believing I got to work for them illustrating a beautiful tale.
I have also worked for El Topo, a newspaper from Seville. I was so lucky to illustrate an interview which had one of the biggest drawings of the entire newspaper.
It has also been published “The Earth Issue” by Cunning Folk. There, I illustrated a delicious vegan recipe by Lauren Lovatt. I love drawing and food, so imagine how delightful that was!
I am also working as a Graphic Designer for my favourite shop in Barcelona: Grey Street. If you wanna see my work for them I recommend you to subscribe to its newsletter, as it is designed by me + on instagram there are also designed posts by me, for example the Tarot Tuesday series.
Another of my favourite projects is the one I am developing for magical Margian, a really talented human being. I am illustrating some stories she has been writing and I am beyond happy with this because she really has a divine gift.
Last but not least, I am also working on a children’s book. I cannot say anything more about it but I promise you it will be marvellous :)

Thank you so much to everyone who is trusting me and hires me to illustrate their stories, projects and life. I am beyond thankful
- to the moon and back.

☼ Celebrating my 27th birthday eating ramen and peanut butter. Moreover, now I have a silver beetle and a crysocholla stone on my neck that protect me.
☼ Lavender essential oil to calm anxiety and sleep well.
☼ Plenty of inspiring art books by amazing artists.
☼ Visiting 5 art galleries at the Sevilla Gallery Weekend.
☼ Drawing a lot on my sketchbook with new art supplies as well as going with the Urban Sketchers group and the Fine Arts museum (yes, again).

And that’s all for this month! Let’s see what December has for me :)
Thank you so much for reading and sticking with me; hope something has inspired you or been useful - until next month ♡
Lots of warm, love and rich cocoa,
